Songkran Festival
Songkran in the North region :
Water Festival in Chiang Saen, Chiang Rai province, runs from 13 to 21 April. At the Golden Triangle area, where the borders of Thailand, Laos and Myanmar meet, a ceremony, during the day, will pay homage to the town’s Buddha image.
At Sukhothai province, Si Satchanalai is one of the most beatiful place sountern north, songkran fastival run rfom 13 to 15 April.
Songkran in the Northeast region
In northeast part of Thailand songkran is one of the bigest fastival in teh region. Normally the water fastival will run during 13 to 17 April.
Khon Kaen is the enjoy the water fastival from 12-15 April, particularly in the town of Aumpor Moung of Khon Kaen at Karw Neaw road (Sticky Rice Road) ..... It 's usually crowned with many tourists from around the country and around the world.
